Membership
The Impala Racing Team is deep as it is strong. We have over 170 members of all age groups and running aspirations, many of whom are locally, regionally, and nationally ranked.

Membership Dues
Annual dues for 2023 are $225 to pay for our coaches, some race entry fees, team travel, Impala parties, uniforms, and general administrative costs. Student members pay reduced dues. The Board of Directors will also make arrangements for financial hardship on a case-by-case basis.

Standard Applicants
Applications currently closed and will reopen in late spring 2024.
If you have hit our time standards in at least one distance (or are close!), please consider applying.
Application Process
Submit your application.
Applicants who are moved forward in the process after application review will be invited to a phone screen with the New Member Coordinator to take place within a month of when the application is received.
Applicants who are moved forward in the process after the phone screen will be invited to join 4 trial practices to take place July-August for the summer cohort and January-February in the winter cohort.
Applicants who are moved forward in the process after the 4 trial practices will be formally invited to join the team.
Elite Applicants
Elite applicants:
Applicants who have met any elite performance standards for their age group within the past 18 months will be considered year-round on a case-by-case basis if the Standard Application round is closed. Please email the New Member Coordinator if you meet our elite performance standards and would like to apply outside of our Standard Application window. If you are applying in the Standard Application window, please check “Elite” on the application.
Scholarships
Karen Cox Scholarship
We honor the memory of our founder, Karen Cox, with a scholarship that ensures that any Impala member who is short of funds for team dues or race entries can compete without financial concerns. This scholarship is funded from the team treasury and is available to current and new members.
